I have always loved drawing and painting and, other than in my pre-computer age child hood years, I have never been able to give it much time. But now I no longer work and try to prioritise my art but family life is still very busy so painting still takes a back seat far too often.

One of the things I love about art in general is that you never stop learning therefore it never gets boring. I currently attend classes with Grace Paleg to enhance my skills with pastels. I also work in watercolour and gouache quite often, it depends on my subject.

Essentially I paint for my own enjoyment and I am still exploring what I want to paint. I currently don’t do commissions for this reason, however my grandchildren request a different animal painting for every birthday …. which I love to do for them.
